Safari Highlights:

This tour will start in Nairobi Kenya, end up in Kilimanjaro Tanzania You will be picked up at the airport on arrival or from your hotel in Nairobi. We will cruise through the Maasai Mara, home to the 7th wonder of the world, the Wildebeest Migration (Jul-Oct). We will also visit Lake Nakuru National Park., Serengeti Park. Ngorongoro craterl, Tarangire park and Arusha Town. A combination of semi-luxury and adventure, this safari will let you experience the Magic of Kenya.

Itinerary

  • You will be met by our representative at the airport or at your hotel for tour briefing thereafter, depart for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy your afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. This Park which covers 180 sq km. The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Full board accommodation included in the tour price Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

  • Depart after your morning breakfast for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July, August and September when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

  • After breakfast, head out for full day game drive toward the Mara River. Carry picnic lunch box to have lunch by Mara River. Return to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

    Optional Activities:

    1. Early morning balloon safaris. You will be dropped off at the takeoff site by the balloon company and picked up from your landing site by our safari driver. Balloon safaris are a romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of East Africa, as you gracefully and silently fly over the plains teeming with herds of wildlife in the early morning. Typically, a balloon safari begins at break of dawn, about 6 am, and lasts for around 1 hour, during which you will fly over parts of the vast Masai Mara plain, seeing the magnificent wildlife below, spread over several square kilometers of the reserve. Balloon flights are available daily in Masai Mara and take off from designated sites where the disturbance to animals is kept to a minimum. The flight is followed by a champagne breakfast "in the bush", with a well laid out seating arrangement and waiters on hand, to give you a fitting final to your memorable flight in the wild . Then you will start a game drive again with our driver guide. Picnic lunch offers wonderful scenery. The lunch box is packed by the hotel you stay. After lunch you will continue with game drive. The cost is USD 505 per adult.
    2. In the afternoon game drive, you can visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. The cost is USD 30 per adult.

  • Morning breakfast and Checkout Camp, arrive at isebania border between kenya and Tanzania for migration logistics, Proceed to the Serengeti National Park, entering the park after lunch. The Serengeti (Masai for “endless plains”) is famous for its enormous concentration of game (especially the big cats) and for the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and Thomson’s gazelles. The abundance of plains game in this area is truly astounding. Enter the park through the lesser travelled western corridor and game drive en-route to our campsite in the centre of the park. Tonight we bush camp (no ablutions) in the wild surrounded by the sounds of the African bushveld, pierced only by the calls of the nocturnal wildlife. Check into the hotel.

  • Waking up in the Serengeti is something really special. Sights, sounds and smells of Africa are all around us, and ahead is a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park. After breakfast, we start today with the morning section of our game drive in Serengeti National park . Central Serengeti is home of Big cats including lions, Leopard, serval cat, Cheetah and other animals , marveling at the stunning scenery, ever changing light and always entertaining wildlife, all explained to you by your expert driver-guide.

    • Then drive Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater.
    • After an early start we pack up our camp and continue our game drive through the Serengeti National Park in search of the resident wildlife and head to the southern part of the park where we have the chance to see the endless plains this park is renowned for.
    • May see some of Africa’s ‘Big 5’! We cross from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation area at lunch time and begin our climb up the steep Crater edge.
    • Check into
    • Tonight’s camp (basic ablutions) on the crater rim sharply contrasts the warmer plains below - we suggest you bring your winter woollies as it can get very cold at night.

    • Then drive to Arusha. The Ngorongoro Crater with its 600 m high walls and 20 km width is a natural marvel.
    • The Crater’s rim offers spectacular views, but the true scale of this caldera is only appreciated from the floor itself where the abundance of its animal inhabitants becomes apparent.
    • It is home to nearly every species of African animal and offers a chance to view an incredible concentration of East African mammals, such as elephant, rhino, buffalo, hippo, lion and plain’s game.
    • After spending the morning game driving in The Crater we continue to our campsite outside Arusha where we spend the evening musing over our thrilling wildlife experience.

  • After your leisure breakfast proceed to Tarangire national park. Spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park, back dropped by the spectacular, rust-hued Great Rift Valley. At Tarangire, find a stunning concentration of animals — herds of elephants, impalas and zebras — all of which traverse the sprawling plains late afternoon proceed to your accommodation for shower, dinner and overnight budget.
